I’m currently in college… can I join?
Unfortunately the Her Future program is only open to individuals that are currently enrolled in high school. However, we encourage college students to apply to be mentors to our Her Future Ambassadors!
FAQs for College Mentors
What does it mean to be a mentor?
The ideal Her Future Mentor is a current college student who is willing to build relationships with Her Future Ambassadors and to be their first point of contact throughout the duration of the program (September to May). As a Her Future Mentor, you will have a hands-on role in Her Future assignments and workshop webinars, provide feedback to Ambassadors who submit their assignments, moderate and contribute to Her Future social media channels, and more! Her Future Mentors will also act as ambassadors of Her Campus.
Can I be a Mentor if I used to be an Ambassador?
Absolutely! We would love for you to be a mentor! Unfortunately, applications for the 2019-2020 program year have closed and will reopen August 2020.
How can I apply to be a Mentor?
Applications for College Mentors are collected leading into the beginning of each school year. When applications are open, you’ll find a link to apply right here!
I missed the deadline to apply to be a Mentor! When will applications reopen?
Applications to become a Her Future Mentor will open again in August 2020.
Are there any other ways for me to be involved with Her Campus outside of Her Future?
College students can become more involved with Her Campus by joining your college’s Her Campus Chapter (or starting your own), applying to become a national contributing writer, or joining Campus Trendsetters!
